How it works( thermostat or only relay needed)

Post by Iserbi »

Hello Everyone, i’m a newbee here. So i have few quesions:
as for now i’m planning to order 5 valves (i have 5 radiators) in my flat with collective heating. All of them are compatible with netatmo smart valves. I also do not have a boiler.

My question is:

Which pack should i order( starter pack with 3 additional valves, because it has own relay) or i should order thermostat with 5 valves? I mean i can not find any info what for relay needed?
My goal- is to controll all five thermostats with iphone netatmo app, and i have NO boiler at
Thank a lot for your answers!

The Relay is basically the bridge between your wifi and the valves. All the communication with the valves goes thew it, so you need one no matter what.
Since you don't have a boiler, get a starter pack and the additional valves.
Home: Weather Station (V3 + Rain & Wind Gauge, 3 additional Indoor Modules, Shield), Valves Starter Pack + 7 Valves, Video Doorbell
Office: Thermostat (V2), Healthy Home Coach, Smoke Alarm, 2 2in1 Sensors
