I leave mine out all year round in northern England with no problems.

As far as I can see, it is possible to grant additional users access to all my cameras, but it would be nice if I could grant access on a per camera basis. Is this possible?

No, home_id is not the same as client_id. Also, the setpoint is per room, not per thermostat. Use the ‘homesdata’ call first.
