Face detection but no motion alerts

Hi folks, I have a rather concerning bug report. For a few weeks now I've noticed that I hadn't received a single motion detection alert. I didn't think much of it at first because I was still receiving Welcome Home alerts for myself and my partner, so I thought the camera was just getting really qu...

Re: Stop recognising faces on TV

Yes the easiest solution is to aim it away from your TV.

A harder to solve problem is the camera recognising faces on clothing such as band t-shirts. Let's just say you're not the only person to receive a surprise home visit from Paul McCartney...

Re: Reduced face notifications since v169 upgrade?

Any comment on this from the team? Seems like everyone is experiencing the same thing. Pretty much have to stand still in front of the camera for several seconds to be picked up now, a definite change from previous firmware. Sorry to bang the same drum over and over but it really would be good to k...

Re: Geofencing and timeout

It's an iPhone 6. My partner has an iPhone 7. For the record, it worked fine today :) Last night i restarted my phone, in case that was a missing piece of the puzzle (in fact due to internet problems at home I ended up restarting everything including my router, and Welcome, but that's another story)...

Re: Geofencing and timeout

Hey Johan, Thanks for the reply. Sounds like the few of us in this thread are in the unfortunate 1%! The IFTTT method i used to use with a much simpler camera setup which completely lacked inbuilt entry/exit detection. I had to manually arm it when going out, so it was a great convenience to set up ...

Re: Geofencing and timeout

Hi, Apologies for bumping a very old topic, but I am also suffering from unreliable geofencing. Both myself and my partner use the security app on our iphones, and it is quite common for one or the other of us to not be recognised as 'leaving home' even hours after we left (this probably happens at ...
