Re: Leaving the old thermostat in parallel?

My thoughts exactly.
It should work if netatmo is on-off thermostat. I don't know how to verify such assumption.

Re: Last update App/Website/my observations

Then that's the reason you don't have the outside temp graph. You have to setup a netatmo weather station and it has to be connected to the same local network as your thermostat. Not necessarily true. Thermostat is picking outside temperature from the nearest weather station or something like that....

Re: Leaving the old thermostat in parallel?

Connected to the same terminals?
That's what I had in mind. Not just parallel use. Electrically connected in parallel.

Re: Setpoint temperature drops

Did you check your schedule?

There is default schedule which sets the temperature depending on a day of the week and time.

Additionally, it might be default duration of your manual setpoints (Energy/Manage my home/Home parameters/..)

Leaving the old thermostat in parallel?

I am thinking about leaving the old thermostat in parallel as a backup to override Netatmo in case of some failure.

Normally, old would be set to 0 deg C, so it would not turn on the boiler.

Any reason why not to connect in such way?
