Re: Access smokedetector ?

I received the answer from support, that they decided to hide the valuable information one gets on via the "try-it" instead of exposing this as well to customers. So unfortunately not a bug, but a conscious decsion of Netatmo. Their recommended approach is only webhook-events and polling f...

Re: Netatmo down?

Looks like Netamo hosts some stuff at OVH. They managed to bring their whole internal network down this morning, according to German media Heise.

Re: Netatmo down?

And not only weather, but everything (Energy & Security as well). I guess not only for me.
On their website the system-status is RED since a while. Now even that throws an "internal error" and is unreachable

Re: Retrieve boiler status in "pseudo real time"

Via API from Netatmo you can only retrieve what Netatmo initiated. The relay is not "bi-directional" in a way that it could detect if the boiler is running. If you want to detect boiler operations (real-time or not) directly, it would need an API. Eg my wood-pellet-boiler has a Modbus inte...

Re: Retrieve boiler status in "pseudo real time"

Hi Antoine, use the /homestatus with the home_id in question and you'll get this: modules:[ { boiler_cable:false firmware_revision:222 hardware_version:229 id:"xx" rf_strength:107 type:"NAPlug" wifi_strength:56 } { anticipating:false battery_level:4498 boiler_status:false boiler_...

Re: /homesdata and /homestatus - general or not?

Yes, the discrepancy between the results you get using "try it" on the dev-site and what you are able to actually achieve once you authenticate on your own, have been mentioned multiple times - and for a long time also. And the situation is getting worse with every "new" product ...

Re: Access smokedetector ?

Installed the NSD last weekend, so I never got anything back for it from /gethomedata regarding attributes.

I did get limited data from it in the events-section, but missing events similar to what you described in your post

Re: Access smokedetector ?

Hi, yes it looks like the webhooks have a problem as well. If at least /gethomedata or /homestatus would return the values for regular users the same as the developer-site, one could get along with polling for the relevant info. Hope they fix that soon. Smokedetector is on the market already for som...

Access smokedetector ?

Hi, using the scope read_smokedetector as documented returns no useable information using /gethomedata "smokedetectors": [ { "id": "70:ee:50:5b:be:da", "type": "NSD", "last_setup": 1624787800, "name": "Rauchmelder Keller"...

Re: Lots of issues with the Doorbell and no one is answering the tickets

When was cat7a invented ? If you have a new installation you obviously don't have to worry about length, diameter and resistance. My house (and my wires) are 40 years old. The signal went from switchboard, to 1st floor down to the chime, back to switchboard, crossed some switches (to be able to shut...
