There are multiple posts about this issue on this forum, I strongly doubt it's a faulty valve but more like a design flaw. We're waiting for an official answer on this.

@risodv The valve started working correctly for me just now, out of the blue, truth be told it worked fine until earlier today when it showed erratic behaviour like yours... An employee of mine has got the same issued as we do, so I think it's kind of wide thing, but no idea what causes it. Curious,...

App improvements apart, risodv, I have your exact problem, valve should stay closed and not heat a room already at set temperature, but it's being heated anyway.
Did you find a solution, or understand what was wrong? Thanks.
