Re: Compatibility of rechargable batteries

NP! I have not tested any more, as using the lithium metal batteries took all my problems away. As mentioned above, I replaced them in January. Still they are at 100% according to the indicator. I understand your view, that recahargable would be better, but I have not tested any. Considering testing...

Re: Compatibility of rechargable batteries

Hi, What kind of rechargeable batteries are you using? Normally rechargeable batteries have a slightly lower terminal voltage from the start. About 1,2 volts compared to 1,5 volt on alkaline and even higer, 1,8 volt on lithium metal. Even if rechargeable batteries fits and have the same measures as ...

Re: Open Window detection

Hi, In my experience, the OWD kicks in even if the thermostat does not heat. It takes some time to detect, but it detects it before the valve starts heating. At least so far. The only way I can see this, is that the window icon appear in the thermostat display and I can see it in the app/webGUI. I h...

Re: Valves not closed

Hi again, As promised, I will update with my status after replacing the batteries with lithium-metal type of batteries. Still every valve thermostat operate without any problem of any kind. Closes the valve every time. I have not calibrated my valves manually one singe time since i replaced the batt...

Re: Valves not closed

Hi, Good to hear that this seem to work out for you. My valve thermostats have behaved exactly as they should at my place as well. Not one singe manual recalibration since I changed the batteries and no overheating due to valves not closing properly. Very satisfied with this. It is now over a month ...

Re: Valves not closed

Good! Keep us updated. Many things pointing in direction of a problem with the power supply on the valve thermostats. I guess the contact stickers, which everyone can get for free from Netatmo, are not made for fun. Very sad that there are no further explanations behind this. We still don't know if ...

Re: Valves not closed

Yes. Did not change anything for me. I got them and have them installed on all valves thermostats. Problem still persists, until now...

Re: Valves not closed

Hi, Anyone still having problems with the valves not closing? I had this problem frequently on my valves. All of them (4), until I some weeks ago investigated the inside of the valve thermostats by studying the "teardown" done by another member of the forum and by checking out the stepper motor. My ...

Re: [Guide]Valve teardown guide

Tommaso, Good one. If this is the one, it should do the job very well. Even at voltage below 3 Volt. Also this one should be able to regulate my valves with 1% steps easily, even with maximum backlash. Its all up to Netatmo programers then... It would be good to get this confirmed by Netatmo though....
