Re: Compatibility of rechargable batteries

Hi, This is interesting news. Keep us updated on how this evolves. My system is still running strong with the lithium metal batteries. Still 100% and in use since 16. January 2019. Rechargeable batteries would be good, but I will have the old ones running until they are empty or problems occur. Than...

Re: Homekit support for weather station: what hardware versions are supported?

Good news! I'm considering bying a v3 for this and reuse my v2 for my datacenter/technical room etc. Do you think the v3 station can "translate" the v2 information and make it available for HomeKit? That a v3 in combination with v2 will make your entire solution available? Maybe not the best way of ...

Re: Latest firmware version

Hi Dr. Fix, I have not checked facebook, so I decided to make a short post here. My valve thermostats have been working very well for quite some time now. Even open window detection is working. However, it goes back into normal operation very soon after I close windows/doors and it does not go into ...

Re: Compatibility of rechargable batteries

NP! I have not tested any more, as using the lithium metal batteries took all my problems away. As mentioned above, I replaced them in January. Still they are at 100% according to the indicator. I understand your view, that recahargable would be better, but I have not tested any. Considering testing...

Re: Compatibility of rechargable batteries

Hi, What kind of rechargeable batteries are you using? Normally rechargeable batteries have a slightly lower terminal voltage from the start. About 1,2 volts compared to 1,5 volt on alkaline and even higer, 1,8 volt on lithium metal. Even if rechargeable batteries fits and have the same measures as ...

Re: Open Window detection

Hi, In my experience, the OWD kicks in even if the thermostat does not heat. It takes some time to detect, but it detects it before the valve starts heating. At least so far. The only way I can see this, is that the window icon appear in the thermostat display and I can see it in the app/webGUI. I h...

Re: Valves not closed

Hi again, As promised, I will update with my status after replacing the batteries with lithium-metal type of batteries. Still every valve thermostat operate without any problem of any kind. Closes the valve every time. I have not calibrated my valves manually one singe time since i replaced the batt...

Re: Valves not closed

Hi, Good to hear that this seem to work out for you. My valve thermostats have behaved exactly as they should at my place as well. Not one singe manual recalibration since I changed the batteries and no overheating due to valves not closing properly. Very satisfied with this. It is now over a month ...
