Thanks very much for that guide. Could be very useful if anyone gets similar issues. It also answers my usual curiosity which is, what's inside and how does it work. Out of interest how rugged is the gear assembly, that's if you stripped it down that far?

We ask the questions over and over again. Alas no response, or only a response that says, "have you checked the batteries? Yes they are new!! Have you reset it? Why should we of course). Have you checked the distance to the relay? Yes it's 5 meters and full signal". Then hey presto....No further res...

Same problem here even with four bars on each valve minimum. These things are such high maintenance but great when they work.

I had this problem with one of my valves. The thermostatic valve worked but the Netatmo valve after calibration didn't completely stop the flow. I have bought new TRVs to fit in the offending positions. However, just the other day I experimented with the Lockshield valve, which was nearly fully open...
