Re: Anemometer Update!
Had an exchange as well, after a post on Twitter, CS helped a lot faster :) It's on the roof now for 4 days and working ok, firmware is on v.17 now. Range looks slightly better. Let's see if this one can keep it dry. And after working for about 3-4 months the replacement seems to have broken down a...

Re: Setting up rain gauge and anemometer on a balcony
Not a good idea. The Wind Gauge, is having serious issues, and is not reliable at all. Just look at the thread, and how many bad readings/issues users are having. I would stay away from it, however if you want to. According to the manual it needs to be 1 meter or 4 feet above the highest point of yo...

Re: Anemometer Update!
Seeing all of these problems, plus the fact that it took years for them to even sell it. around 2 years after they announced it. Does not bring a lot of hope to this additional device. I am however grateful to all the European beta testers who brought to light the serious issues with this product, y...

Re: Anemometer Update!
I would like to see better sampling rates. We do not have them for sale in the US yet, but from your posts. I am holding off. I do have equipment that is certified, tested, and rated I could compare it to. However the reviews have said enough. Its sampling rate is far to low, at least what it report...

Re: Record frequency 5min change
It captures every 5 min, but reports every 10 min. Take a closer look at the times on the graph.
This is going to be an issue with the wind gauge. We would be better off with 20 or 30 second intervals, but we will have to wait and see.

Re: Anemometer Update!
After being burned by the rain gauge, I will hold off on this one, until its accuracy and reliability can be verified. I would also be shocked if it comes out on time. On that note, you are supposed to put this guy way up in the air, so now we need to look at mounting options that place this at leas...
