Re: Netatmo WELCOME announced (web cam)
Nice idea, but I don't like the fact that every information is sent to netatmo servers. It would be much more interesting if you had the option to use your own servers if you want to. I don't like the idea of someone hacking into netatmo servers and getting indoor co², sound levels and now even a pi...

Re: ssh key mono
It seems there are different (wrong) certificates being used. If no server_name is given in the Client Hello of the TLS handshake it delivers a certificate for *.netatmo. com . ~# openssl s_client -connect api.netatmo.net:443 Certificate chain 0 s:/description=u0EV8Pp9cr4XXP3K/C=US/ST=Delaware/L=Lew...

Re: Statistics / charts of all Netatmo data - HELP!
I haven't seen this kind of statistics on the netatmo site yet. You could export your data to Excel and build this statistics with excel. I do have plans to make this available also for public stations as I'm interested in this as well via the API, but I'm still working on the basic things like API ...

Re: Indoor module working with batteries??
I only tried one battery: http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00F5Q4 ... _ttl_sol_0
And this had the auto-standby feature. As this was the only battery with this large capacity for a reasonable price I had to withdraw my plan with thoses batteries and switched to a solar system

Re: Indoor module working with batteries??
Well, in theory you could by one of those external batteries to charge smartphones. They have a battery, charger and voltage regulator inside and offer 1 or 2 USB outputs. I had one of those, but the problem of it was that it was too clever. It had a "charge detector", that means if no cur...

Re: Indoor module working with batteries??
You can use any 5V Power supply. How are you into electronics? Can you solder a battery to plug? Then you might get one of these solder plugs to it and the battery (for charging the battery) and connect any battery with 8-12V: http://www.ebay.de/itm/DC-DC-Converter-Module-12V-To-5V-3A-15W-USB-Output-...

Re: Average power consumption indoor module
Well, as I posted earlier, I got a 30Wp solar panel, a solar charge controller, a 30Ah 12V AGM battery, a 5V voltage regulator with 2 USB Outputs and a Huawei E5220 UMTS Router. Already did a short test with a smaller battery at home to test the router and power supply. I will mount the solar panel ...

Re: GETPUBLICDATA and total rain since midnight
If you only have a few stations (up to 5) you can bookmark them in the weathermap. If you then invoke devicelist with the parameter get_favorites=true there is a sum_rain_24 field for every rain module.
But I sign that the same field would be useful in the getpublicdata repsonse.

Direct link to a station in webinterface?
Hi, is it possible to preselect a station via the URL? With some stations + favorites it takes a while to browse through them via the prev-next-buttons if you seek a specific one. I would like to bookmark all of them seperately, but they all have the same URL http://my.netatmo.com/app/station and th...

Re: Average power consumption indoor module
The 3G Router drains ~100mA on 5V on idle, so yes more, but compared to the 10-30mA of the weather station it's still not dramatically more, or in other words it makes a difference whether its average is closer to 10 or closer to 30mA on idle :) Anyway, I guess I'll just size the system to be heavil...
