Mounting plate fragile

Do not turn the screws very tightly when installing the mounting plate. Tightening the upper screw too tightly led to the plastic of the screw mounting on mounting plate braking. I did subsequently install the 25 degree mounting plate, so no problem.

Just found out that this functionality is still to be added with a new firmware update.

Smart doorbell and Dropbox

I have installed my smart doorbell and it appears to work as it should. I am trying to get it to upload to Dropbox, like the rest of my Netatmo cameras in the same home, but the smart doorbell does not appear in the list that uploads to Dropbox. Maybe not the latest version...

No answer to your question though. I have read somewhere that there are zones, but have not been able to find this back.

Do the tags also work on sliding doors?

Do the tags also work on sliding doors? I assume they can detect the movement of the door and/or attempts to break open the door. But can they also detects the open / closed position?

The doors are made of aluminium. Is that an issue?

Re: Outdoor sensor range more limited with low temps?

Both, thanks for your response. I will try it out with Lithium batteries and post the results in due time (hopefully only next winter time!)

Outdoor sensor range more limited with low temps?

I originally placed the outdoor sensor at the north side of the house, in a place with a lot of shadow. It is approx. 10 m from the indoor unit, but separated by a thick outside wall (natural stone at the outside, bricks on the inside) and 2 thinner inside (brick) walls. No concrete. The radio recei...
