Re: Anemometer Update!

I've bought my wind gauge in november 2015. It worked not bad, I've never had any data loss or interruption. And since update on firmware 14 measurements are pretty exact and near to reality. Today my netatmo app informed was sending a battery alarm. Thus I climed on the roof, grabbed my wind gauge...

Re: Anemometer Update!

I started having problems with my wind gauge bought in November recently, sent Netatmo Support a message over two weeks ago. I still have not recieved any response, I have even sent them a second mail. I am so disappointed in this company and its unreliable and sometimes non-existing customer care a...

Re: Anemometer Update!

For the first time since I installed my wind gauge in the end of November last year, I am suddenly recieving wind spikes, I've got wind alerts warning for winds over 18,1 m/s when it's not at all that windy outside. It doesn't correlate with nearby Netatmo wind gauges either at the moment, this star...

Re: Anemometer Update!

I'm very happy with my wind gauge actually, I haven't had any real troubles with it yet (knock on wood) and it's been mounted for almost a month. It's giving me very reasonable readings actually. Although, one thing, have you guys also noticed that it reads higher when it rains?

Re: Anenometer battery usage

It's too early to tell yet, but according to Netatmo the batteries are supposed to have an autonomy of 2 years in the wind gauge.

Re: Anemometer Update!

Hmm.. When I'm calibrating, am I going to enter the wind gauge height counted from above the roof or the distance from the wind gauge height on the roof to the ground level? I'm using height above the ground, not height above the roof. I did so too. Sounds like the most logical choice to me. :) hel...
