In my experience, coordination between the web app and device apps can be a bit funky. I would contact Netatmo support. They seem to have become more responsive lately.

Same thing just happened to me after a cloud burst. Waited 3-4 days to see if it dried out, but no luck. Can't be absolutely sure the problem was moisture. Not possible for user. But Netatmo support can do it for you. I just had it done. Email them...they got back to me within a couple of days. I too was unaware of the STATUS feature (must be relatively new?). That said, a status page is only as good as it is current. In this case, it seems to have been woefully behind.

Finally...after almost 12 hours of no data...I'm only now getting a notice that the servers are undergoing maintenance. That's on my iOS devices. I may be wrong, but think the HomeKit code is the same as the QR code you backed up. Did you try that? Once you've set it up via HomeKit you should be able to then use the Netatmo app and never need to use HomeKit again. Realize you probably think you shouldn't have to hassle with using HomeKit sinc...

You might try wedging a small shim(s) in between the mount and the camera body to create enough tension to keep it from moving.
