Re: Physical buttons on Thermostat not working

I had the same issue. I have to turn it upside down and rotate the display. Very annoying and I believe it cannot be fixed outside the warranty period. Very disappointing.

Re: Help - need to connect new thermostat to exisitng relay

I was told recently by Netatmo that the relay and thermo is factory paired. I had a faulty thermostat and asked if I could have that replaced and was told I couldn't.

Re: False low battery reporting - recent problem

Are you using the correct type of batteries? I'm sure I read somewhere they have to be alkaline. I recently had to change mine. I bought some EverReady but it still showed as low battery then bought some Duracell and the issue was resolved. Just a thought.

Re: Flat batteries mean no heating?

I actually experienced that if the batteries are not replaced, the app fails to connect to the relay so I assume the thermostat needs to be working for the whole system to operate. The temp cannot be controlled from the app alone.

Re: Thermostat physical operation

If the thermostat needs to be used, I found that I had to remove from the base plate, turn 180* then use the side that can be "tapped" to change the temp. This is not ideal of course, and I know I can use the app. Looks like a warranty claim to remove the relay and thermostat, return and refit a rep...

Re: Flat batteries mean no heating?

If the batteries fail can the phone app not control it? Negating the need to ever use the thermostat?

Thermostat physical operation

I've noticed today that I can only decrease the temp on the thermostat not increase it. I don't think it's software or battery related. I expect it's a physical issue as it doesn't move when tapped at the top of the unit. Can only hear a click at the bottom when pressed. Might have to get it replace...
