Re: Indoor module dead after battery change

Did you check that you put in the batteries the right way?

The question is whether the battery is really dead or just showing to be dead. Could someone confirm please?

Re: [Ongoing] - Weatherproofing

Just wanted to report back on my TFA Dostmann Weather Protection Cage - the shield is big but very functional. It feels a bit flimsy but it does protect my Netatmo weather module very well. I believe it's available on the Amazon website in your country - I ordered mine on Amazon.co.uk, but it was sh...

Re: Weather station not uploading data after being offline

I don't know the answer to your question, but I hope you do know that the outdoor module relies on the indoor one in terms of its connection. I also believe the station would need to be connected to the WiFi first. My WiFi is powered down in the middle of the night but I didn't notice that my netatm...

Re: outdoor module battery consumption went crazy

I wouldn't. If you bought your product in the EU, you're covered by relevant consumer laws, whereby the seller is responsible for 5 years for the product to work well, I think. Certainly, this is the case in the UK: https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/consumer/somethings-gone-wrong-with-a-purchase/cla...

Re: Changing refresh rate

I believe the refresh rate is when there's a change in conditions, i.e. increase in temp. etc. Otherwise, a regular, i.e. periodic, refresh would drain the battery too quickly. This is my understanding, but a Netatmo rep would have to confirm this.

Weather forecast after latest upgrade

Hello All After upgrading our Netatmo to the latest firmware (Module Main v124 / Outdoor v44), I noticed that weather forecasts for the day are totally skewed. For example, it's overcast and raining now, but the Netatmo app shows sunny intervals. The highest temperature for the day is also incorrect...

I like yours.

However, I've found a case that it's likely to house the outdoor module nae bother. Currently on order and will report back once I get it.

Search for TFA Dostmann Weather Protection Cage on Amazon (98.1114.02).
