I made this suggestion here 3 years ago. But netatmo doesn't seem to care, although many users seem to have problems with it.
Currently, the temperatures differ extremely strongly again (it has already worked significantly better). Up to 2 degrees Celsius. And that every day!

Valves don't report bad battery while voltage is too low
Exactly the other way round than in this thread the batteries in my smart radiator thermostats seem to be empty when they still appear 3/4 full in the app. There is also no message that the batteries are empty. In addition, the thermostats remain fully open no matter what the set/actual temperature ...

Re: Open Window detection
Do not urgent the future. Give it time to release it when it works properly. I don't want a future full of bugs. I'm ok waiting and knowing it will come. It's allmost the end of the winter, why should hurry? But now winter is on the doorstep again. Nothing to be seen of the promised function far an...

Re: New app (warm)temperature correction fail
I would like to suggest the following on this subject. Wouldn't it be possible to use the internal temperature from an existing internal temperature sensor of a netatmo weather station as the actual temperature for the valves? I think an external temperature sensor further away from the radiator wou...

Re: Wrong temperature value
Try this method of temperature correction available for each valve https://forum.netatmo.com/viewtopic.php?f=73&t=10009 maybe it helps. Thank you very much for this link. I didn't already know, that changes in the warm/cold-temparature offsets take up to 24 hours to be effective. I think, I was...

Re: Wrong temperature value
I hope I can join this thread with my own problem matching it. :| I have bought the netatmo smart radiator valve set. All works very fine, but one thing makes me crazy: The room temperature measured by the radiator valve is different to the temperature measured by my netatmo weather stations indoor ...

Re: Is Netatmo generally a very bad product?
I do not see this that way, because I see it from the technical point of view. It's nearly impossible to design some electronic devices to work properly (means including extended battery life) with both types of batteries. So they design the devices for working with 1,5 volts, because there are stil...

Re: Is Netatmo generally a very bad product?
I am using Panasonic Eneloop rechargables now. Will swap to Fujitsu black recharables next time they run out. Now I think we probably have found the issue with the battery eating of your units! I have had bad experiences with using rechargeable batteries in such devices. As you may not know, such b...

Re: Weather station outdoor unit issue
Did you have to modify the TFA shield to allow the netatmo outdoor unit to fit inside? No, there is quite enough room inside the TFA shield as you can see here: https://www.amazon.de/review/R1AGHBAF3UDPJG/ref=cm_cr_dp_title?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B017ILZF6C&channel=detail-glance&nodeID=10925031&a...

Re: Weather station outdoor unit issue
...any special battery for outdoor unit? No. I always use alkaline batteries from a well known manufacturer (no cheap alkaline batteries or any simple zinc-carbon-batteries) in all my units. Trying to save up money by this type of batteries will probably cause less power or leak and destroy the uni...
