Re: Measured temp wrong in manual boost / external heating ?

Hi, it is also very slow to measure temperature change. This morning, without external heating just radiators: Screenshot-2017-11-20 Netatmo.png It starts at 19 degrees, and slowly rises to currently 20.8. The valve at the raditor is mounted at 75cm above ground. In contrast Netatmo Energy shows: Sc...

Re: Valves not closing after a few days

Problem is still existing. I had opened a ticket with support, they came back to me last Wednesday asking if problem still exists ... I hope they start working/analyzing the situation soon.

I think everybody who experiences a similar behavior should open a ticket.

Measured temp wrong in manual boost / external heating ?

Hi, a new problem surfaced today with my valves. I have a home-office today so I decided to heat using our wood-oven beginning around 8.30. I did not want the room to overheat so I did a "manual boost" to lower the temp to 19 degrees. The valve seems to "lock" the measured temp in this case at the t...

Re: Valves not closing after a few days

Update: The brand new valve is acutally worse than the old one  The old one seems to work OK currently in the office. Mounted in the bathroom, It took only a few days until it was not able anymore to close the completely. The new one just takes one heating cycle (after calibration) to stay ...

Re: Broken Valve

Then it looks to me that the Netatmo-Valve is faulty. I think you have to wait for an answer from support how to arrange the replacement.

Re: Broken Valve

Hi,
you could try swapping the valves between each other and see if problem stays with the Netatmo valve. Also you could check if calibration fixes things (temporarily).

There are currently more reports of such a behavior (see my thread about valves not closing properly).

Re: information about valve/motor position, how much is open

It would be great if the valve itself would get a mode where it displays (alternating with current temp) how open/closed it is currently (0-100 in percent). This would greatly improve detecting wrongly mounted valves or defective ones, because e.g. if it says 100% open and radiator does not warm up ...

Re: Valves not closing after a few days

Update:
Bathroom did not cool down, besides "away-mode". Calibration of that valve fixed it again.

Tomorrow an additional valve (intended for an additional room) will arrive. I'll mount that in the bathroom to check if anything changes.

Update will follow.

Re: Valves not closing after a few days

Status at 12:00 : desired temperatures met in all rooms since about 10:00 Bathroom: Valve more or less completely open, radiator fully warm Livingroom: both valves mostly closed, radiators slightly warm up to half of radiator-height (so far WD40 on one valve made no difference compared to the other ...

Re: Valves not closing after a few days

@Fabio: one addition: initially all was fine with my setup too. The radiators all went cold when the room was heated properly. The valves did not close fully after some days of operation and the radiators do not get cold completely. I tested by putting everything to "away-mode" and after few hrs onl...
