Re: Valves not closing after a few days
@Fabio: one addition: initially all was fine with my setup too. The radiators all went cold when the room was heated properly. The valves did not close fully after some days of operation and the radiators do not get cold completely. I tested by putting everything to "away-mode" and after few hrs onl...

Re: Valves not closing after a few days
HI Brieuc, currently 3 out of my 4 valves do not close for sure occasionally. For the 4th I need to examine the behavior a bit longer before exchanging them. BUT: if that is really a mechanichal failure of 3 out of 4 devices .... @Fabio: I did apply WD40 on the valve-pin (of the radiator) yesterday ...

Re-Install valve / retract pin ?
Hi, as I have some problems with some valves not closing fully, I thought of unmounting and re-mounting them again just to make sure they fit correctly. Problem: if I unmount a closed valve (pin fully extended) and re-mount I might apply too much peasure while re-fastening. So question: is there a m...

Re: Valves not closing after a few days
Going back a few days, the valves did close (temperature decreased), but it fact they do not seem to open fully  because it takes 4 hrs to heat up the room 1 degree. The behavior then was quite different to the graph of today. Today (see graph in my previous post) it heated up quite ok, but...

Re: Valves not closing after a few days
Hi, currently the valve in the bathroom is not closing fully. One can see in the screenshot that officially no heating occurs, but the temp stays up because the radiator is heating  I would really like to know what is causing this. As calibration fixes this, this means the valve thinks it is c...

Re: Smart valve is still working
Yep,
it would really help what resolved that issue because I could face a similar one.
Thanks,

Re: Valves not closing after a few days
Hi Zib, I think (better hope) that the smart valves react differently if attached to a thermostat or just the relay (as in my case). In the Thermostat-Forum it was mentioned that it is normal, that valves do not close fully because the Thermostat switched off the heat source: https://forum.netatmo.c...

Valves not closing after a few days
Hi, I noticed that the valves do not close completely after a certain amount of time. Running a calibrate seems to fix it temporarily, but after a few days the radiators are slightly warm even if the web/app show no heating at all happened the last hours. Can this be fixed by adding the additional s...

[Feature request] Temp-Offset/Correction per valve
Hi, using only relay and valves I can adjust room temperature using "offset" in the app or web. I have large living-room with two radiators and valves. I need to be able to calibrate/offset the temperature of each valve independently instead of only the room. The radiators in the living-room are loc...
