Re: Extend relay radio signal

Hi Marting. At the moment there seems to be no way of extending the range/improving the communication. There are many threads on this subject so you are not alone. I understand the difficulties for a company to communicate through a forum, but this problem seems to be sufficient that some interactio...

Re: Valves not closed

Thanks for clarifying. sorry if I misunderstood. One other 'mechanical' test idea; do you have a 'decorators cap' for your valves? If push to close then this screws on to replace the Netatmo/TRV body and will fully close the valve, this will show for sure if the valve is leaking and is how i located...

Re: Valves not closed

I have the same issue that was solved last year by the firmware in november 17' Are you saying that you had this before and your problem was solved, or that your problem is similar to the one which was solved? Also a question: Is this a new, or an existing (i.e. previously working) Netatmo installa...

Re: Where is the best place for your thermostat / valve

This may not be the best way, or even work the same way for others. I run in 'comfort' mode and have valves in most 'major' rooms (others still have regular TRVs). The thermostat is in the 'most used' bathroom, this has a heated towel-rail without a valve. Two other bathrooms also have heated towel-...

Thanks tuxbox. Most strange, a question for Netatmo then.

Re: Whats (new) in firmware v190(relay),v70(thermostat) and

@georgzer But the first message on this thread states tuxbox is NOT a beta tester. It is not disclosed if a fault ticket was opened, but I would assume tuxbox would know if one had been and Netatmo would have said that they were pushing new software, so the question would not be asked Therefore the ...

Re: Whats (new) in firmware v190(relay),v70(thermostat) and

Same here. I tried to trigger an upgrade (configure wifi) but no updates found.
It would be good to hear from Netatmo if these are beta or perhaps fixes for reported issues?

Re: Firmware update not coming

Well, none of my equipment upgraded automatically, so finally, I also triggered it via the network menu option.
Since one improvement in Relay V189 is to the update process hopefully I won't need to do this again :)

Condensing boilers - a discussion

I have an oil fired condensing boiler, (although I guess the fuel type is irrelevant). Before I used Netatmo valves it was setup with regular thermostatic vales and a flow temperature of 65 degrees, this produced a return of around 50 degrees, which is (apparently) an efficient return temp. that cau...

Re: Use valves (and room thermostat) as repeaters!

Thanks Brieuc, looking forward to further updates on the valves.

Perhaps a product idea using @bartsimponx25 suggestion, a relay with special firmware could be made available as a booster?
