Re: Outdoor unit losing connection

It happened to me once when I did put a metal birthcase (with peanuts) between the module and the base station and now it happened again (I did put my X-Mass tree, with electric lights right in front of my base-station).

Re: Help adding module

The module and base-station don't use wifi to connect to each other, but ???? When installing a new module they must be close together. If the connectiont fails you will have to remove the batteries from the module, wait 30 secs and try again (starting the base-station and then replace the batteries...

Re: Advanced algorithms (PID and Prediction) computation

I have had a bunch of "self learning thermostats" and they ALL produced what you are describing: they need time (expirience) to learn. If the PID is adjusted to soon you will get chaos.

Re: ANYBODY HERE?

Netatmo seems to be less interested in other languages than French. Netatmo is French and French only speak French. A bit exaggerated, but it profiles Netatmo the way I look at them: 100.000 units sold worldwide (English, Spanish, German, and so on): but they stick to French. Yes, there ARE English ...

CO2 versus Temp

Is it normal that the CO2 rises with temperature when there isn't anybody or animals) in the room to create CO2?
My graphs show this behaviour.

Re: How does Netatmo connect to my WiFi?

All other modules connect to your base-station. The base station only connets when it has to send data (every 5 minutes). You can look in your routers log-file to see when it connected.

Re: Advanced algorithms (PID and Prediction) computation

I have to keep looking at the temperatures, in order to turn up the max temp in my boiler. It works, but it is not my first choice. I'm not saying this is the problem (and apologies if you're aware of this already), but the PID algorithm will never get tuned correctly if you keep changing the boile...
