Re: Prediction heating does not work anymore

Hi Polimedia, Now it's all OK. Good to know. The product is FANTASTIC, yet, I feel a bit worried, what happens if in the next Netatmo server has some issue and nobody from Netatmo replies to my issues. Yes it is. The device itself will never stop working if the Netatmo servers are down, but agreed i...

Re: Possible problem with first new thermostat?

Hi systematic, You should certainly see improvements, being more comfortable and controllable. By having a thermostat I assume the BOLD temperature will be achieved, and once achieved, the boiler will switch off and thus save us money as there will be no gas pumping? Is that correct? Correct, but ev...

Re: Rain Gauge Measurements and Calibration

Hi Jofre, range goes up to 150 mm/h That's useful information to know, and hopefully JustKJ might be able to repeat the experiment running the water a little slower through the device, and everything should work out. This means that if the buckets tilt less than 3 seconds after the last tip, the tip...

Re: Thermostat blocked

Hi Kpow99, The Netatmo Weather station uses bluetooth to connect and gather info on the wifi network, the thermostat does the same. Agreed you can do it without a phone/tablet but you need to connect directly to the PC to do it. Agreed - you can use this route, but I suggested not using it as it did...

Re: Rain Gauge Measurements and Calibration

Hi JustKJ, Glad you are getting somewhere, and thanks to you and Jofre, I have discovered a few more things today about the Rain Gauge and comparisons. Although now I am a little concerned / confused by your latest post............ I switched my units from metric to US on my web interface to see wha...

Re: Rain Gauge Measurements and Calibration

Hi Jofre, Thank you for your helpful post, and corrections. I hadn't bothered to go into detail about comparing the two surface areas, which you have done very well, and corrected me on the side by side comparison where you are indeed correct i.e. his glass container should have read 3.363 inches. I...

Re: Rain Gauge Measurements and Calibration

Hi there, Welcome to the forum, I will try and answer some of your questions: A correctly calibrated Netatmo rain gauge in the same area as a glass cylinder gauge should collect amount the exact same amount. Correct? Correct Pouring the 4 fluid ounces into the glass cylinder resulted in a measuremen...

Re: Compatibility - german JUNG Thermostat

He Harald, what does it mean, if in the graph view the orange columns are just halfe as high? The graph shows the amount of time each hour the Thermostat was commanding heat. Therefore if the line in graph is 'half high', the Thermostat was commanding the valve fully open for 50% or half of the hour...
