Re: Web hosting Netatmo Weather Data

Nice solution, for Wordpress users. I don't use WP though. But thanks for the response.

Re: Web hosting Netatmo Weather Data

Is it just mine or is MeteoWare getting even less reliable. WU has lost my data 4 times and regained it 3 times every few hours in the last 15 hours. I realize the service is free but not likely to pay for unreliable service. Wish there was a more reliable and tailorable alternative.

Web hosting Netatmo Weather Data

I have been using the MeteoWare service to display my weather station data on my web sites. However, recently their service has been unreliable and their data feed to Weather Underground frequently goes down. Are there other alternatives to showing Netatmo Weather Station data on personal web pages?...

Re: Anemometer Update!

I have posted a review of the Netatmo Wind Gauge on my Cassiopeia Observatory web site:

Re: Anemometer Update!

Faulty Netatmo Anemometer shipments is exactly why I'll be ordering mine from Amazon. If I receive a bad unit it will be returned to Amazon using their free return policy. If that happens I'll be done with Netatmo and will likely get a Davis weather station, complete with all needed sensors.

Re: Anemometer Update!

I'm pulling for Netatmo to succeed. Maybe they were overly optimistic with the design and rollout of the Wind Gauge. That may have hurt them in many ways. Hopefully they can quickly recover.

Re: Anemometer Update!

For some reason, only known to Netatmo (and they aren't talking), Amazon US has pulled the Wind Gauge from their online store. For many months it showed with a "not available yet", but now it is gone altogether. As we all know, rumors will fill a vacuum and the silence from Netatmo regarding US avai...

Re: Anemometer Update!

A sincere THANKS to all the Wind Gauge beta testers in Europe. Since the Wind Gauge is still not available in the US, you are apparently the only source of good beta testers for Netatmo. Some may think the product design is flawed, and the delayed US release might support that opinion. But it is a n...

Re: Anemometer Update!

If thermal updrafts are the culprit, then the mounting location will be critical to avoid possible sources of rising heat (ie. rooftops). But then I also wonder if passing birds or large bugs would could erroneous readings.
