Re: Anemometer Update!

Given all the anticipation leading up to the release of the Netatmo Wind Gauge, I wonder if Netatmo is reaching out to the dedicated customers who are reporting problems. Yes, users tend to not report having no problems so it is not surprising to see some reports of real problems. Hope Netatmo is tr...

Re: Anemometer Update!

I've never liked automatic firmware updates. But with the Netatmo we seem to have no choice. There is no user notification that an update is available and no way to install updates from the iOS app. What happens if the firmware is downloading and the Internet connection dies? What happens if the fir...

Re: Anemometer Update!

Netatmo remaining quiet on this issue is very disturbing. While they could still be collecting user data, these reports may indicate a design flaw or a firmware issue. With all the delays in releasing the product I would have thought they did some real world testing with some select users. But perha...

Re: New app without notifications in app,

I reported this missing event/notifications timeline feature in the new version 2.0 I received this response from Sendy in Netatmo Customer Service: "Sorry, this feature has been removed. Thank you for your understanding." I wrote back with: "Thank you for the response. But actually, I don’t underst...

Re: Anemometer Update!

How about some reports on the wind data seen with the Wind Gauge from those of you lucky enough to get one.

Also, has anyone outside of Europe received the Netatmo email notification of Wind Gauge availability?

Thanks. --Mike

Re: Anemometer Update!

.............and mid October passes!!! Mid-October runs from the 11th through the 20th. Today is the 20th. Guess that means we'll see the Netatmo announcement in the next few hours. And all of us who signed up to be notified of the Wind Gauge availability will find that anxiously awaited email in o...

Re: Netatmo App in Mac App Store

[quote="Steph"]Webaccess is better. I don't see anything you can't achieve with a Webapp nowadays. Actually, there is a very valid reason for a Mac app (and iPhone app) that can read the data via your local Wi-Fi network (or Bluetooth). If your Internet access is down (due to a storm), you can't get...

CNET Announces the Wind Gauge!

CNET has published a review of the Netatmo Wind Gauge. Since Netatmo has been reluctant to announce pricing and a shipping date, apparently CNET decided to do it for them. Quoting from their review: "The Wind Gauge will cost $99 in the US, and £99 in the UK when it launches in mid-October" Hopefully...

Bluetooth & Local Wi-Fi access to data

Since there is no local display unit available for the Netatmo Weather Station, we really need Bluetooth and local Wi-Fi access to the weather data. There are just too many points of failure on the Internet to make Internet only access reliable. Right now I need access to my rain data during a monso...
