Re: Schedule on time - Boiler start or temp reached?

Just a thought Robby76, check your location setting. Unless you have the weather station, the heating prediction is done by the local outside temperature. If it's hit and miss this may be in incorrectly set?

Re: Schedule on time - Boiler start or temp reached?

Yes absolutely. It's always the target temp that is reached at the END of the scheduled time. So my morning schedule is say 6am-8am set to 21 degrees. By boiler fires randomly (depending on outside temperature or Netatmo weather station) at say 4:30am and only reaches 21 degrees at 8am. I can see th...

Re: Schedule on time - Boiler start or temp reached?

On the back of this discussion, I now realise with Prediction switched on, the start time of the schedule is irrelevant as Netatmo switches heating on at the predicted time to reach the temperature at the END of the schedule.

Re: Schedule on time - Boiler start or temp reached?

Many thanks for reply. :-)
I see that would be useful. I've reset my boiler timer so that it is ON all the time but could set a time for the morning therefore Netatmo would not switch the boiler on.

But since installing I set my boiler to constant ON so that it is only controlled by Netatmo. It is set to 6am-8am So in theory it should come on earlier but also go off earlier t...

Schedule on time - Boiler start or temp reached?

Hi Sorry for newbie post. Got this setup yesterday and all great. Just have a question as I noticed my boiler come on about 5am this morning even though the schedule is set for 6am. I've not done anything fancy in the setup, just basically stuck to default so far. Is the start time the boiler firing...
