Re: Thermostat has own life

Your title actually says it all... The issue is that the Netatmo suffers from huge thermal lag. See this thread: http://forum.netatmo.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=7373 When I compared the actual room temperature against what the Netatmo reports, I found huge discrepancies. This is especially the case wh...

Re: Netatmo Thermostat for Infrared Heaters

I would also like to switch some infrared panels with the netatmo thermostat. I know, that netatmo can switch up to 2A whats not much enough for such panels. (2x900W = 7,8A) But maybe there are some solutions using an additional relay for switching. Electricians seem to call these 'Contactors' . I ...

Re: Netatmo Thermostat for Infrared Heaters

Both your heater and your existing thermostat seem to be rated at 12A - whereas the Netatmo's relays (the one in the thermostat itself, and the one in the 'wall unit') are rated at 2A. So, as you suspected, the Netatmo can't switch the required load - not without some additional hardware. I'm intrig...

Re: program not respected

Do you have another device you can compare it to? Maybe one with a Max/Min function?

According to your graph, the temperature (as measured by the Netatmo) only fell to about 20°C at 4am.

Re: program not respected

as you can see in the attachment. between 5 and 5.30 in the morning the temp. should be 21,5 but instead the temp. reaches max 20,9 at 5.50 and the heating is on till 6.00 although it should stop at 5.30 The snag with the graphs and the temperature readings from the Netatmo thermostat, is that they...

Re: thermostat STUCK! no answer from netatmo SUPPORT ..HELP!

Whenever someone writes a negative review on Amazon.co.uk, they get this initial response:- My name is Peter from Netatmo, and I would be pleased to help you. I read your comment with huge attention and I understand your disappointment. Be sure I am committed to helping you. ... ... Lastly, I confir...

Re: Boiler is always on, regardless of Thermostat status

From what you've described, you are in 'Wireless mode', whereas JOhn5528 , was using his to replace a wired 'stat'. Correct? If so, the fact that the boiler switches off when you disconnect the wiring to the 'Relay', says to me that the fault is definitely not in your fixed wiring to the boiler - it...

Re: Boiler turns off and on before reaching temperature

What is the boiler's own thermostat set to? -- this may be a switch that says "High/Low", or a rotary control knob that allows you to set an actual temperature. If it's a modern boiler, it could even be a menu setting. The general advice I have seen, is to have this set as high as possible - though ...
