Re: Calibrate the Netatmo Thermostat

"But you can't controll the Siemens Rev 24 via app og wifi?" and "After going back to hyst. mode, did you get a message, when new PID was ready?" The Siemens Rev 24 has a built-in calendar , so I can set it to a lower temperature when I know I am away from home for an extended period ... which is r...

Re: Calibrate the Netatmo Thermostat

PID performance, with holes drilled in casing. According to the hidden data returned to the Web App., my Netatmo recalculated its PID parameters on 25/12/16 @ 15:07. This is representative data from a few days later. Green is the 'actual' temperature (from a DS18B20), red is the Netatmo data. As wi...

Re: Calibrate the Netatmo Thermostat

See the following collection of graphs :- Measurements.png In each case, the ' green ' trace represents the actual temperature (as measured by a DS18B20 in free-air, next to the thermostat). " A " and " B " are the un-modified Netatmo stat., supposedly in PID mode. " C " is the impressive performanc...

Re: New .. How to connect two devices

I've installed it on several phones and a tablet - I don't recall any great dramas ... I just used the same credentials as the first time. You could use the "Add Users" function, if you need to have separate logins.

Re: Problem with Digistat RF£ and Grant boiler

What's does the Netatmo app have to say? Is it in contact and recording data?

Can you ping the Relay/receiver? - you'll have to find its IP address using your Router's GUI.

You may have to contact Netatmo's fabled support team at this point :-(

Re: Calibrate the Netatmo Thermostat

It's interesting when you read the reviews of all the smart stats on the market - no one seems to have thought to test the actual temperature sensing functionality; there's an assumption that that's the easy bit, and it just works... ...I've got some more stuff to post, when I get a minute. I took t...

Re: Problem with Digistat RF£ and Grant boiler

I don't use my Netatmo in this mode, so can't claim any great expertise - to debug the installation requires a little electrical expertise ... and a multimeter. However, from the experiments I did, I don't believe it is fully configured. I think the switch provides some sort of 'test' functionality,...

Re: Replacing exixting thermostat in MOBILE STAND version

...it seems that I have to connect the relè directly to the boiler (which is not possible since I have the double zone partition), not to the sleeping zone valve! Is it possible to mount the relè to the wall using the previous thermostat wires? Electrically what you suggest doing will work, so long...

Re: Problem with Digistat RF£ and Grant boiler

Yes. Black and Grey are the switch inside the Netatmo "Relay". So, if connected as shown, it connects Live to the original Grey wire when it operates . The presence of that voltage, is what makes the boiler fire up.

Re: Problem with Digistat RF£ and Grant boiler

Based on the Drayton documentation HERE , the modification you describe, makes sense. The contacts on the Drayton SCR Receiver are as follows:- original.png You would need to attach the Netatmo Relay like this:- Digistat.png Physically, you ought to trace the wires back to the boiler and attach the ...
