The battery life of my outdoor module is now 2-3 weeks. Look on Amazon product reviews for the outdoor module. I am not the only one! This makes the product useless and I am surprised they are still being purchased. Does Netamo intend to fix this issue and if they do can I have a new fixed outdoor module please?

I have submitted a support request (45002) and Netatmo are very kindly providing a replacement. This will be my third outdoor module. I assume this will be guaranteed to be fault free ??

No problem here. I think I might have replaced the battery on my outdoor module two or three times in the two years I have been using it.

I've had my outdoor module installed for over 5 years (in a northern Canada climate), and have only had to replace my batteries once! Has worked flawlessly in temperature ranges between +30C and -40C.

My outdoor module has been fine for the last few months I've had it but this week I am on my 3rd set of batteries for it, lucky to last 2 days, I will see how I go with support hopefully a quick resolution as it's pretty useless to me at the moment.

Not sure why one's are having these issues, I'm actually amazed at how long the batteries last, I got nearly 2 years out of my rain and outdoor sensors on the supplied batteries?! Might even get more out of better branded batteries.

Possibly not connected, but I had exactly the same battery problem with my rain gauge. The battery life was fine for 3 years or so, usually lasting at least 3 - 4 months. Then after January this year it got worse and worse, dropping to 1 month, then 3 weeks for a while, then 2 weeks, then a matter of a couple of days. When it hit one day I gave up and replaced it. My assumption was that the wireless antenna on the circuit board was damaged, so the unit needed more and more power to produce the equivalent signal when contacting the base unit. However I have no way to check this.

My outdoor module, which was itself replaced in 2015, has had the same batteries in it that came with the unit, so that’s now 3 years 11 months and they are just now starting to get low.
