Is the rain gauge self-emptying?

Post by Jassim » 16 Jan 2020, 09:37

Hello everyone,,
Or will it have to be periodically emptied after certain amounts of rain? Logic would dictate that it would need to be emptied, but wanted to be sure. Searched around and couldn't find someone who asked/answered this question yet.

There are drainage holes on the base of the Rain gauge, therefore there is no need to empty it.
On the other hand, we recommend to periodically clean the filter that protects the module from leaves and insects and to check if the rain gauge is clean inside.
Have a nice day!
