Hello Jaro,
One thing is you can also use some nail polish to make it weather proof.
But take care you need one which will not damage the electronic.

Well,
it has been ouside for 6 days now, battery just lost one bar from full capacity. So it's much better now, will see how long it lasts.

Thanks for the reply.
Is it true that rechargeable batteries are NOT supported?
If this is the case - why not? Why does Netatmo not take for the environment?

With rechargeable batteries, the voltage drops strongly as the charge decreases, whereas with non-rechargeable batteries it drops only slightly. Therefore, the battery indicator does not work properly with rechargeable batteries. I use rechargeable batteries. When they are fully charged, the indicator shows only 60%. But they work fine for me.
Netatmo could add a point in the setting where you can choose whether to use rechargeable or normal batteries and adjust the battery indicator accordingly.

Same shit - after 1 week standard AAA ikea alcaline batteries drain to zero. Did you solve the problem?

Hi,
Apparently this happens when some transistor in the outdoor sensor is damaged.
Then the battery disappears very quickly.
This is not confirmed information.
