Bug: Station disconnects since firmware update 177

My Netatmo has been running fine for years. Since this last firmware update I find that it is disconnecting from wifi and not uploading data every couple of days. I have to unplug the main module from power and plug it in to restart it and resolve the issue but it happens every few days. I think we have a bug in the latest firmware.

Same here, with 178. I’ve opened up a support request. Hopefully we hear something soon. I’ve seen a couple other posts about the same problem with no resolution... yet

Same problem for me, I was advised by support to set a static IP address, but it's still dropping off wifi every couple of days.

I’m glad we’re not alone on this one but it’s still frustrating! I’ll post here if I make progress, but it’s been a week and mine still won’t connect to Netatmo.

Weirdly the HomeKit reporting is working just fine

it seems that this is happening more regularly that I thought now that I'm looking more closely. It seems to drop off the wifi for 2-4 hours every 4-8 hours over the last couple of days. Interestingly, the weather station does not respond to pings even when it is connected to the WiFi.

Same problem here. It used to run perfectly now it frequently disconnects and doesn’t update. Firmware 178. Unplugging it and reconnecting it works but only for a short while before it starts again with not updating.

The same with my station v2 177.
I have reconfigured the WiFi connection and the error seems to be fixed.

Same here. have had the weather station for years and never any problems, now two disconnects just this week. (firmware 177)

I just bought the station and i also suffer from the same problem, v4 firmware 178. Thought i had a faulty module and thought i might have to return it. Reconfiguring the wifi did not help. When pinging the device most pings are lost, the device is standing about 3 meter from the modem.

I have the same Problem... just reported it too to Netatmo... hope they bring out a Bugfix soon! It’s really annoying like this.
