Yes, I think the two holes in the socket can be used to screw the sensor base if needed.

There are small holes in the bottom to filter water.

Nice nice nice.

Lets see how plasitc will stand the different weather conditions.

Damn, i was one of the first who ordered the rain gauge via Amazon on the 30th of March, and i still do not have a delivery date.

I think it will be after the 10th of May or so....

I got mine yesterday and so far it has rained 0.1 mm :)

I presume a screw doesn't come with it?

Has anyone worked out if it seems accurate yet?

Test it yourself with a glass of water etc.

We'll I emptied my analog meter with 35mm/m2 in the netatmo and it shows 7,6mm/h so I don't know if it's accurate, i guess different measurement methods "rain amount" and "rain intensity"

How did you test is with a glass of water?

I just received mine this morning too. It's now installed on a wall with a U shaped in aluminum.

Waiting for rain... 8-)

It's a sunny day, so I will test/calibrate it with the procedure available in the Netamo Settings.

The sensor is quite small and made of lightweight plastic. I hope it will withstand weather and time... :?
How did you mount to the strap? Screw size?

I have the rain gauge not yet available... But it would test the quantity with a glass of water fist of all.

The total quantity at your netatmo station should be also the 35mm, it is meqsuring correctly.
I assume that the rain gauge is measuring mm/m2......
