£20 for Duracell? That's a bit overpriced!london2tim wrote:Cheap??budgie81 wrote:Cheap batteries?
i used Duracell extra long life - paid 20quids on them
anyway - i replaced them again Fri - and now (tue) they are already at 50%??!!?!
I'm using the Energizer lithium's - all batteries were new in January 2016.
Firmware v44, v8 and v18 respectively.
Re: FAQ: All you need to know about firmware upgrades
I have exactly same situation and same question. Are FW upgrades higher than 124 HW dependendent or not? This is not mentioned anywheremost wrote:I am still on firmware version 124. No way to upgrade it to v.127 or v.130. Is (old) hardware preventing firmware updates above v.124 as I acquired the device when it was released?

Is there a way to force the FW upgrade since it does not do it from Windows setup app when main unit is connected via USB
Re: FAQ: All you need to know about firmware upgrades
Where are people getting firmware 127 from? It isnt listed at all on the release notes
And 130 has been suspended until further notice

Re: FAQ: All you need to know about firmware upgrades
Afaik there are two versions: v124 and v130. v130 causes some troubles for "older" hardware versions and thus was suspended for them. "Newer" hardware versions will get v130 right now.

@netatmo support. Can you please confirm this?grin wrote:Afaik there are two versions: v124 and v130. v130 causes some troubles for "older" hardware versions and thus was suspended for them. "Newer" hardware versions will get v130 right now.
Re: FAQ: All you need to know about firmware upgrades
Trust me, my "old" weather station couldn't be updated to v130. I've replaced it with a new one because I've experienced some problems and the newer replacement device updated to v130 without any issues.budgie81 wrote:@netatmo support. Re: FAQ: All you need to know about firmware upgrades
So based on this I need to just wait that v130 suspension is released for older HW? Then the question remains why I can not upgrade to from 124 to 127? @Netatmo support needed here to answer.grin wrote:Trust me, my "old" weather station couldn't be updated to v130. The weather station is a great product but support is terrible.
