anyway - i replaced them again Fri - and now (tue) they are already at 50%??!!?!
£20 for Duracell? That's a bit overpriced!

I'm using the Energizer lithium's - all batteries were new in January 2016.

I have exactly same situation and same question. Are FW upgrades higher than 124 HW dependendent or not? This is not mentioned anywhere  .

Is there a way to force the FW upgrade since it does not do it from Windows setup app when main unit is connected via USB

Afaik there are two versions: v124 and v130. v130 causes some troubles for "older" hardware versions and thus was suspended for them. "Newer" hardware versions will get v130 right now.

Trust me, my "old" weather station couldn't be updated to v130. I've replaced it with a new one because I've experienced some problems and the newer replacement device updated to v130 without any issues.

So based on this I need to just wait that v130 suspension is released for older HW? Then the question remains why I can not upgrade to from 124 to 127? @Netatmo support needed here to answer.

The weather station is a great product but support is terrible.
