hello, have been a good place from searching for the anemometer and also wonder whether he should be oriented to the south or north (Wind direction) see on the photo of the anemometer are an arrow! what do you think?

You can spot on the german video, that there are indicators on the bottom and top. I'd guess they point north.

Does anyone know whether the anemometer will feed in to the "feels like" data, and thus make it more accurate?

Well, usually "north" is the standart indicator. But since that thing is round, it doesn't really matter,as long as we do it right, or does it? :lol:


I just dug through my receipts and found the one from the raig gauge. I ordered it from Netatmo on 08.04.2014.
So I'd guess the Wind Gauge will be available about the same time, April 2015 (2nd quarter).

Have just asked at Netatmo and the anemometer should be directed to the north !!

Hopefully you're right, April ...:-) thumbs up!!

So I have the four indoor units total (One original and three add ons), and the one outdoor unit, and the rain gauge. Can I also add the anemometer???

Sure!
Before the Rain Gauge was released, you could only add 3 additional units.
When the Wind Gauge comes out, there will be a firmware update for the main weather station and you will be able to add it.
