Hopefully nothing gets damaged during this storm, but the wind sensor is registering speeds of 93mph, gusting 99mph.

I have also discovered the firmware is on 115. Maybe netatmo have updated it for me.

99mph! You're lucky it's still attached! How do you have it mounted?

I bought some tripod screws. Found some special mesh material that acts a grip. Bought a L shape heavy duty bracket. Secured the L shaped bracket to my the highest point of my home with heavy duty screws (thankfully). Attached wind gauge to bracket with tripod screw and some mesh. The mesh is sticky slightly and stops the gauge and tripod screw from working lose (hopefully).

So far it's all ok but I will check tomorrow that's all is ok. Wind is still manic at 89mph.

Edit - highest speed now shows 100mph !!!!

Seem to be getting better readings since the firmware update and the manual height calibration, average is much higher but still seems a little on the low side

@gavinfabl - Don't you think that your readings are false? It looks strange on your wind chart and seems impossible that average wind is almost 100 mph, while the nearest station in Princetown shows max 45 mph:

Yes I'm beginning to think the speeds are too fast. Will need to see what's going on.

Edit - that is my station on wundergrpund

Yes it is. Now the Netatmo app isn't showing any data. Weird.
