If the release date really is Sept 30th, that is a bit extreme and not worth waiting for. Especially if update frequency is every 10 minutes. If we cant get 30 second or 1 minute updates on this thing, its not worth it to me, not worth another 4-5 months for sure. Plus this thing needs to be placed a good distance over your house, and with its tripod style flimsy mount, I am not even sure it would have survived this past week of storms. But it will make a good lightning rod if you do this correctly and place it 5-10 meters over your house on an aluminum weather station pole.

Well, that is actually the same with _every_ anemomenter, not just with this one, if you want accurate measurements. One reason why I am thinking whether to buy it at all or not, because finding a proper spot and a good way to mount this as required is pretty difficult. It is not like the rain gauge that just needs open sky...

don't count on it.. on twitter, they aren't using "soon" like they did before, but now it's "later this year"..
Seems like there may be an extra delay

If they could answer here, everybody would be able to see it easily, in stead of mailing/tweeting and spending time to answer everybody individually. :s

The only real clue we have is this and it says by the end of september

And their answers on twitter. At least they changed them from "in a view month" to "it will be available very soon!".
