I received this email! So hopefully we something soon!

"It is yet on production level,
It will show the wind and direction;
You may have to wait something like 3 months

Sorry for the trouble and thanks for your patience."

Maybe by the end of summer?

Beside the anemometer [in km/h, direction] I would have several ideas for additional components to be integrated into a Netatmo system:
- Solar radiation gauge [in W/m²]
- Soil hygrometers or Tensionmeter [in hPa]
- Carbonmonoxide meter [in ppm/ppb]
- Radon sensor [in Bq/m³]
- A background radiation meter as Geiger-Mueller tube [in Microsievert/h]
- A basic seismograph [Magnitude on Richter-Scale]
- A light sensor [Lux]

Any Update on this? I want to put in a Wind Power Generator and want to Log Wind speed data before doing so. Looking around there is nothing that is cloud based for the data storage. Thought that this was a perfect fit for Netatmo!

I read the following in the French forum:

"Bonjour,
L'Anémomètre est toujours en phase de développement, il sera disponible prochainement, mais je ne peux vous donner de date de sortie.
Merci pour votre patience "

Basically: The anemometer is still under development and will be available soon, but I can not give you a release date.

There you have it.

I was told it should be out Q3, I am guessing they are having problems with it.

I'd rather it be done right versus having it right now.
