Nice approach to quality products.

Does having a beta version of the iOS app let us still use the public version independently ? Or will it be actual public version updates, which could lead us to not being able to use any iOS app for our cameras, due to bugs (which is normal during beta tests) ?

Hi,

Apple beta process goes through TestFlight app. It lists all the beta apps you have access to and allows you to download it. You can't have both TestFlight version and AppStore version at the same time however if some critical bugs prevent you from using your product swiftly you can go to the AppStore and download it again. It'll erase the TestFlight version.

We don't plan to break everyone's app ;) we'll try our best to push stable app.

My feeling was that every owner of a Netatmo camera was already a beta tester ...
We all get new versions pushed to our devices without being asked, and we all report bugs and submit suggestions (mostly ignored by Netatmo) on this forum.
But... yes, not all of us have an iOS device... that must be the distinctive feature of a real beta tester!
