Connecting Smart thermostat to a Riello Start 25 boiler

Post by cefaleia »

Hello,

can someone help me to identify where to plug the wires on the boiler? My boiler is a riello start 25 and i want to wire the Relais directly to the boiler and use the Thermostat wirelessly (wireless setup). I have a photo of the board.

You have to replace the jumper on the grey terminals with the black and grey wires of the Netatmo Relais, polarity not important.

Then you have to add the blue and bronw wires to the boiler‘s power supply

You can find in the manual instructions on the boiler‘s settings.

Thanks for the response. The grey and black wires i think that it's simple, but the power blue and brown wires how do i connect? On the same place of the existing blue and brown wires?

Yes. You switch off the power, then you unscrew the blue and brown wires form the terminal (photo) on one side. Preferably the boiler‘s side (bottom of the photo) and not the one the supply wires are attached to, but if it‘s easier that way then it‘s ok as well.

Then you add the Relais wires, matching the colors and you tighten the screws as much as you can.
