De Dietrich City Eco.Nox 1.24

Post by smolep »

Hi!

I have De Dietrich City Eco.Nox 1.24 FF H boiler. Serial number: 591. I have also a De Dietrich Easymatic Colis AD 136 thermostat in my living room. Does enybody know if it is compatible with Netatmo Thermostat and relay?

I already searched compatybility list but I cannot find exactly the same model.

I would like to be 100% shure before I invest 1000+ € in Netatmo thermostat and 10+ radiator valves.

Best regards,

Peter

It should be compatible.
There are 2 Terminals marked „S EXT / TAM“, with your current Thermostat connected to them with two wires.

Disconnect those wires and connect the black and grey wired of the Netatmo Relais to those terminals, polarity not important.
You also have to connect the brown and blue wires to a power source.

As an alternative you can also remove the old thermostat and wire the Netatmo Thermostat instead. That way the Relais has to be plugged into a socket.

Also you will have to change your boiler settings regarding the warm water function since the Netatmo Thermostat can‘t control that one.
There is a section about this in the manual and the available options.

Office: Thermostat (V2), Healthy Home Coach, Smoke Alarm, 2 2in1 Sensors

Hi, GEORGzer!

Thank you very much for all your efforth and all the information about connecting thermostat to my boiler. You mentioned warm water function. Do you know which device controls my hot water? Is that Easymatic controller? Is there any alternative device with that feature which I could use it, to control my hot water through WEB or LAN?

I’m really gratefull for your help. Best regards,

Peter

Hi Peter,

judging from the labels of your boiler, german is your language 😉
Take a look here under „Technische Anleitung City Condens 1.24 und 2.24 Wand-Gasbrennwertkessel“:
https://www.dedietrich-heiztechnik.com/ ... view=58620

Page 23 and 25 describe the process of connecting a thermostat and what settings to choose.

Happy wiring 😋
Georg

Austrian mode on 🇦🇹:

Thank you very much for all the information that you provide. Now I realize that Netatmo did some extensive progress in a few years. I remember that 1st gen thermostat doesn’t support hot water option. 2nd gen obviously does. Huray :)

Thank you!

Best regards,

Peter

Only if the boiler supports the OpenThem protocol.
