HomeKit - Turn on light
Is it possible to turn on the lights when somebody rings the doorbell?
Re: HomeKit - Turn on light
Apparently so. I did program this with the light of a netatmo outdoor camera and it worked. However, it stayed on. Not yet able to figure out how to switch this of, so I disabled this. But I am not a homekit expert.

Re: HomeKit - Turn on light
I have only the option to turn on the light when there is motion.
Not when somebody rings.
When you add the trigger with motion and turn on lights, you get an option to turn off after 1 minute.

If you install the Eve. app on iPhone or iPad, it's possible to setup the doorbell push as a trigger. It works well.
However I have a problem with it. I made a rule if someone pushes that doorbell button, all my Hue bulbs become red.
Works fine, but I also like an automatic shut off after 1 minute.
Some bulbs do it, some not. It's randomly which bulb shuts off.
Does somebody know how this could be possible?
I have the same rule with my Philips Hue outdoor sensor. If this sensor sees movement when it's dark, the Hue bulb lights up and shuts off after 1 min. Everytime & works fine. Just that doorbell doesn't do that...
