Disable Blue Led

Post by Flyer007 »

Would be nice if we could disable the status LED on the doorbell. At night it is very bright and advertising the expensive doorbell to thieves.

As long as the Doorbell is connected to Homekit, it‘s a requirement by Apple.
No way around it at the moment.

Why can I disable the status led on my other Homekit enabled camera’s (including Logitech Circle 2) without any problem? Who says this is a requirement by Apple?

Blue led should not be burning if there is no HomeKit connection. So android users are free of a blue led 👍

+1

I don't have the doorbell yet but I would not like this - I would consider opening the camera and covering the LED internally if possible
