Wiring two chimes

Post by A_Power »

Dear Community,

In my house, I have two chimes in the system, (i.e. the cable runs from the bell button is then split (via Wago clip) running into two different chimes (each being a honeywell e2692n) coming back, being united (another Wago clip) and then going into the transformer (12V Hager ST303) from there back to the button.

Where in this set-up is the correct place for the chime-module? I would guess, I simply add it to the Wagos as those arr the exit/entry points for both chimes?

My issue is that I tried all different places for the chime module (in the wagos, at each of the chimes) and I got always the same result:
The green light would not stop blinking. When I took it off and put in on USB, it would go to "white". However, once I put it back on the wall, it went back to green blinking again...
Netatmo said, that I probably have a defect version and I sent it back.

However, once I have a new one, I would like to be sure that I get the wiring right.
Does anyone have an idea?

Best,
Adam
