Hello,
I received and started using my weather station on dec. 17th, 2012. On Jan, 13th the Out Door module stopped sending data. I discovered the original batteries were already drained. I installed a fresh set of batteries on Jan, 15th. Today, 19th Jan the charge condition is only 3/4. For you interest: on Jan, 6th I triggered the update of the out door module to Firmware 36.
Did somebody discovered similar behavior with batterie live time of the Out Door module? What is your experience?
Thanks,
Knud
UPDATE: Today, 25th.Jan the batteries are gone. Installation 15th. Jan ---> empty 25th, Jan.
@Fred: Should I clue that my Out Door Module is defect?

Re: Battery lifetime out door module
Well I started my station and its module on Dec. 24th and the original batteries still show a 100% charge.
The weather is quite cold where I live (between +4°C and -9°C last week - thanks to patouille's application ) and I also upgraded the firmware to version 32 (not 36, isn't it ?)
So maybe there is an issue with your module?

Re: Battery lifetime out door module
Hi,
A good pack of batteries should last 6 months minimum.... If this is not the case, either the batteries or the module may be deffective...

Re: Battery lifetime out door module
I ordered a netatmo and looking forward to give it a try.
I was wondering if the indoor Station can also be used by battery? Looks like so and would be great to have the flexibility to place it anywhere in the room.
Does it have battery support and if yes how long is the lifetime?

Re: Battery lifetime out door module
hi djay ,
Our aim was a mobile indoor station.
But the power consumption of the product was too high to work with batteries.
IN 2nd Version of Netatmo we have removed the battery compartment.
thanks for the enquiry
