I have an outdoor module that drains batteries very quickly. I understand that this is a known issue. How do contact customer service to resolve this? The Netatmo web site does not give any information about how to contact customer service.

Hallo I have the same problem.
I have 2 Netatmo sets with each one an outdoor unit.

1 outdoor unit works since a long time.

THe other one that I have, consumes new batteries in 1 week.
each week I need to replace the battery.

I just send this information/question to support@netatmo.com

They already replied with an automatic answering email that they have received my request.

I do not know how to solve this ?

Kind regards,

Stefaan

I have the same issue (and many people more, just search the forum/internet). It looks definitely like a design flaw. Somebody posted a repair through replacing a to small designed capacitor (if I remember correctly), but this is beyond my skills.
NETATMO replied to my inquiry with a coupon 10% off a new outdoor module (with still the same design flaw, according the posts of people which bought them this year).

Now I'm using eneloop batteries, they last exactly 10 days, regardless how cold/warm it is!

Ah, and I won't buy any netatmo module anymore......

Mine has been replaced by Netatmo.
Fantastic service !

I will buy more devices from Netatmo.

I used to have 2 brand new expensive sets from Oregon Scientific. THEY STOPPED THE SUPPORT suddenly.
So my 2 installations cannot be used anymore as all data was send via the internet.
Lousy company !!! Never buy from them. You are never sure.

Netatmo is a fantastic company.
THEY REALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS !!

Just because they cared about you doesn't mean they care about ALL of their customers! Please just check THIS forum about the battery problem with the outdoor module or the Internet. You will find many many customers they didn't care about and more over it looks like THEY ARE STILL SELLING THE FAULTY MODULES!

PS: Was your module still under warranty? ;)
