I bought my Netatmo in 2016 and now the batteries started to drain in a week, even despite they are lithium batteries. What to do?
The serial number of my outdoor unit: h1c843a

Re: Outdoor unit started to drain batteries on a week.
I have exactly the same problems. I have hardware version v2; firmware 177 (the indoor and outdoor modules are on v50 / v12)
The batteries (tried eneloop / eneloop pro / Amazon Basics / Assmann Micro AAA 1100) do last for about 1 - 2 weeks (even if module placed next to the main indoor module).
Is there any special battery type witch suits better?

This is not normal and likely has nothing to do with the batteries themself.
Take a look at this topic and follow those steps as well.
