Thermostat display faded/blurred

Post by heruan » 31 Dec 2017, 15:53

I've just installed my first Netatmo Thermostat and it's working well, but the display is not clear to read and the numbers appear faded/blurred, like on low contrast. I searched pictures online and it seems it should be actual black. Is it normal? How can I fix this? I really hope I don't have to replace the unit!

Try a new pair of fresh batteries. Maybe it will help!

I have the same problem after only 1 year. The real temperature is almost invisible from 1 meter distance and the setpoint has low contrast, black is not "black" like from beginning.
I already changed the batteries, but is the same.
How can be the display fixed?

Me too have a faded display after several years
replacing the batteries doesn't help
I tried contacting NetAtmo directly, but I cannot find contact information on the website...

Any way to solve this, or to contact NetAtmo ?

Where you given a solution or found one?

My display has started to frost up aswell now. I’ve had this since 2016 and was all good until recently. I also got this thermostat to replace another Netatmo thermostat which got another fault.

Only solution given by Netatmo was to try get a replacement from the reseller I got from.

I had this same issue not long after purchase and returned it to Amazon who sent a replacement straight away.
