Thermostat physical operation

Post by at_pat » 28 Feb 2018, 11:17

I've noticed today that I can only decrease the temp on the thermostat not increase it. I don't think it's software or battery related.
I expect it's a physical issue as it doesn't move when tapped at the top of the unit. Can only hear a click at the bottom when pressed.
Might have to get it replaced.
Anyone else had this issue?

I've got this issue just now. I expect the switch is broken, so if anyone knows how to repair it then that would be great.

It still works on the app and online - so that can be a short term fix, but it's inconvenient, for sure!

If the thermostat needs to be used, I found that I had to remove from the base plate, turn 180* then use the side that can be "tapped" to change the temp.
This is not ideal of course, and I know I can use the app. Looks like a warranty claim to remove the relay and thermostat, return and refit a replacement.

I've found the same. I think mine will be out of warranty, so I may need to find a long term fix myself.

Same problem here, can only turn the heating up (which still has the physical click) I'm unable to turn the thermostat back down and the click has gone, feels like the button has failed.

I've emailed support, lets see how good they are?

They sent a replacement thermostat out almost immediately, cant fault the service!

Was your system still in warranty?
