Firmware update not coming

Post by amoragues » 17 Sep 2018, 16:04

Hi all,

I have two realys and thermostats in the same house to serve two circuits.

One of the relays (g1a4fe4) serve one thermostat and 8 valves and was updated to v187, v69 and v66 the first week of september.

The other thermostat (g1a4b16) serve one thermostat and 12 valves is running on v174, v65, v51 and isn't updating to the latest version.

I know Brieuc said all will update in a few days to another forum member but my second installation isn't updating.

Can you help me checking why?

Thanks,

Antonio

I understand the update is chosen by serial number of the relay. It could be your second relay is due for a later scheduled update.
However both your devices have a higher serial number than mine (which has not updated yet), so maybe its random selection?

I would be interested to know if with the updated system you see an improvement in the operation of the valves, especially the prediction feature (auto-adapt)

@basil, in the updated system I don't see improvement at this time because we are having a very good and hot weather.

In the comming weeks maybe I can tell you.

Thanks for your response.

Yesterday I started the heating, but the update still wasn`t done, so I am still waiting for the update so that the valves can auto adapt for one room... but nothing till now.

Take the USB cable that came in the box, plug it to the Relaise, run the "Netatmo Thermostat Wizard" app (like you did on the first setup) and do the update yourself. It only takes a couple of minutes to update the Relaise, Thermostat or Valves will update automatically within the next 12h after that.

In the past there was a link on the website to get the Installation Wizard software for the Thermostat as well the Weather Station for windows and Mac. Not sure why it got removed.
Home:
Weather Station (2nd Generation + Rain Gauge, Wind Gauge, 3 additional Indoor Modules)
2 Valves + Relais (Starter Pack), 5 additional Valves

Office:
Thermostat + Relais (1st Generation)

Smart Smoke Alarm
