Frosted display - hard to see temp

Post by matthirst » 27 Oct 2018, 18:51

I've just started using my new Netatmo thermostat and couldn't be happier with how it all works...aside from the fact that I'm really struggling to make out the current temperature on the thermostat. From all pictures and videos I've seen of other peoples, they seem far more clear and less frosted. I can't see any kind of plastic protective cover on the front or anything, so am just wondering what I seem to have missed here?

EDIT: To note, the batteries are brand new

Here's what mine looks like (the current temperature on the bottom is only legible from a foot or so away);

From my POV the display is defective. Ask for replacement at customer service.

Where you given a solution or found one?

My display has started to frost up aswell now. I’ve had this since 2016 and was all good until recently. I also got this thermostat to replace another Netatmo thermostat which got another fault.

Yes, return it as soon as possible for a replacement.
